All existing PAS sensors are either two part or have considerable thickness, which limits their application. Frequently they are unable to determine the direction of rotation which can cause problems when backpedalling or back braking. With this design we adopt a one part solution which is approximately half the thickness of previous models while having double the pulse count and directional sensing for enhanced accuracy and precision.

The HWBS-3 is a cable brake sensor which is fitting onto the brake line and as such does not required specialised brake levers. The advantages this brings are multifaceted, it typically has a longer life that more traditional brake sensors and requires no maintenance, it has a low working power and voltage and is significantly cheaper and easier to replace in the event of a failure. The sensor operates using contactless magnetic signals so the installation of the sensor does not affect the physical operation of the brake. The integrated circuit contains a closed-loop control function which ensures signal stability even in extremely vibratory situations.

The KM118 sensor is used to detect the current speed of the e-bike. It is completely contactless, using a hall sensor attached to the frame and a small magnet attached to a wheel spoke, which means its use does not affect the handling or operation of the e-bike. Each time the magnet passes the hall sensor a pulse is sent to the controller which then calculates the current linear speed and running time. For optimal operation the magnet should be no more than 6mm from the sensor and should be perpendicular to the small cross on the sensor. Installation is as simple as screwing the magnet together over the wheel spoke and cable tying the sensor to the frame.
